My Greek Summer (Port Rafti)

Good morning dear friends! Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!
Through the  pandemic,very often we go at Porto Rafti,for a walk,early in the morning,or for having a coffee with the gorgeous view of the sea!

Porto Rafti is a seaside resort town on the Eastern coastline of Athens,taking its name from Rafti island,which is visible just of the headline.

A few small island lay scattered within the bay and Porto Rafti is surrounding by pine cladded hills and mountains.

NAXOS ISLAND

Naxos island


Good morning dear friends!Hope everyone is healthy and safe!

Naxos is a Greek island in the South Aegean,the largest of the Cyclades island group.

The Portara from the Ferry Dock

It’s fertile landscape spans mountain villages,ancient ruins and long stretches of beach.

The namesake capital(also called Hora or Chora)is a port town filled with white cube shaped houses and Mariel all Venetian mansions.

Down by the river

Athanasios Diakos Village


Hello dear friends! I hope you are well and healthy!
The village of Athanasios Diakos is perfect for a quick weekend break.

The village is located in the mountains of Vardousia.

Athanasios Diakos village,is fortunate to be surrounded by Fir and Chestnut trees,Oaks,Cedars and Sycamores

The river runs through the village with the bridge that passes over in to be a meeting place for visitors and residents.

At the river all you could hear is the water rushing and the birds chirping.

You can find in the gardens of the village,many beautiful Hydrangeas!

Returning back to Athens,we saw those adorable horses eating the grass.

Seaside serenity ⛵️

The sea sets me free...

Hello dear friends!I hope all of you are well!

I’m lucky to live in an area where we have both seaside and mountain sides.

I love the sea and swimming too!

I can stay,there,for hours at the seaside...

and enjoy the sea breeze,and listen to the waves!

Great reflection in the water.

In April,through the lockdown,many beautiful birds had visit my yard!
